Krissy and family, arrive to the UK in the back of banana lorry aged four, unable to speak English.
Whilst attaining her law degrees, Krissy waitressed for 30+ hours a week to support her family. This is when Krissy found her love for the gym, initially using it as an escape from her day-day life.
Krissy began sharing her workouts online to simply document her journey. Thousands of women resonated with Krissy, and her profile built quickly.
Krissy soon recognised a gap in the market, she became PT qualified and began helping women gain strength and knowledge in the gym. Krissy then launched her first PDF guide.
As her community expanded globally, Krissy felt a bigger need to satisfy the gap in knowledge of women’s strength training, thus EvolveYou was born; a female only fitness app, accessible to women worldwide.
After years of woking with other activewear brands, Krissy could not find quality leggings that fit her body. So she launched Oner Active specifically designed to support and enhance women’s bodies during strength training. From first launch, to present, Oner Active continues to be continually successful.
Formally acting as CEO, in 2023 Krissy was appointed Creative Director, overseeing the Marketing, Product and Partnership departments. Playing to her creative strength, this role has allowed Krissy to hone in on the brand mission, bring the vision to life through unique and compelling campaigns.
After years of building her brands, Krissy is now dedicated to giving back, and truly making an impactful change to our younger generation. The Schools Initiative was launched, and provides teenage girls with workshops, activewear and resources that empowers young girls and instills confidence through movement.
Running two multi-million dollar global brands, Krissy continues to provide quality products, provide opportunities and makes strength training accessible to women worldwide. Whilst continuing to be a true role model to the younger generation.
“I love constantly being uncomfortable. There’s always room for improvement, you should be able to sit down and say to yourself I’m really proud of what i’ve achieved but I know I can push a little bit harder next time.”
Strength training represents a determined, goal-oriented mindset and unwavering work ethic – something Krissy learned growing up in an Albanian household where her parents worked multiple jobs. She first discovered strength training while studying law at university, and went on to obtain a Personal Training qualification and leverage her growing social platform to help women realise their full potential.
Krissy has combined her passion for strength training with her understanding of the activewear women need in the gym to feel confident and powerful.
As Creative Director and Founder of two successful companies, Krissy continues to drive brands forward with innovative product ranges, compelling campaigns, strategic influencer partnerships, and global community events.
